And so? It’s a map, the dealer installs it. So if you buy the exhaust and install yourself, but don’t pay a nominal fee for the dealer install… you’ve lost money. Does it make you feel like a big boy if you hit a few buttons yourself and do an ECU program install? I’ve done it plenty of times on my 911s with the Genius tool, Audis with APR and V cars, not to mention the crude power commander stuff for my RC51 and Aprilias from 15 years ago. Who the .... cares how it gets downloaded. Sorry you live in a .... state where the dealer won’t do it for you unless you turn it into a faux track bike. I had mine done in Va where DC, MD and Va, don’t give a .... about it.

The local charges a flat $85 for loading any maps or service updates. When I priced a pipe a few years ago from WRT, they said they would register the pipe to the VIN and I could then download the map into my bike at a Ducati dealership, anywhere in the world.

Awesome. What does an Aprillia from 15 years ago have anything to do with you having so little of an understanding as to this platform? The $1K+ the dealer wants to install a full system is a nominal fee? Have fun getting cucked at the stealership.

I think the issue with NA dealerships is all emission related nonsense. Maybe something to do with Ducati NA getting raided by the feds…

@bp_SFV4 is right, when I purchased my exhaust from the dealer it did not come with a USB. I had to have Ducati Austin verify the purchase in Orlando before they would update the bike.

Akrapovik has to be purchased through Ducati(or authorized) and the VIN is verified specifically for the Race EVO re-map. It's to keep a lock on non akrapovik exhausts from having that specific tune. Every other exhaust on the market does not run Race EVO

Bro. You're like 5'-3". What are you even doing?
