Hey guys,

Had my first service on Saturday. Cannot believe the acceleration now that its run in, insane!!

Anyway, I had the ducati tail tidy installed and the alarm.

Its not working properly, it arms fine, but will only sound if i turn the key in the ignition. Moving it, shaking it does nothing. Is there no motion sensor? Pretty awful if you ask me! Another panigale had one fitted too and his is the same...

Has the dealer not set it up correctly or is it just a waste of money? The whole point of getting it was for motion sensor!

Anyone else have it installed experiencing this?

Thanks,

Joey

Sounds like you sensors are turned down too much, mine works fine, have a look at your manual it's says how to adjust it...

Yup , there should be an adjustment for sensitivity. You want it to go off if somebody bumps your bike. But , not when a car's exhaust backfires , or you close your garage door. If you don't already have a battery tender of some sort , get one. Bike alarms drain your battery FAST.

Just checked mine and you could almost wheel it off without the alarm triggering.

I'm away at the moment and don't have the manual to hand, if anyone could post the steps to increase sensitivity it would be appreciated!
