Good point.

I have had Astars stuff for many years and have had many wear and tear repairs fixed and some items just wear out as they get used.

I have never experienced anything other than great customer service and reliability.
 
I have a perforated Ducati Corse jacket, at at mildly high speeds (+80) it "inflates" and causes a lot of drag - has anyone else ever experienced this?

It sounds like it could be too big for you. The leather jacket should fit snug somewhat like a one peice suit. It prevents the armor from twisting and moving away from the part that its designed to protect and prevents the perf from inflating your jacket.
