Am I alone in wishing that Ducati was more adventurous with its graphics?? 1299 looks like a stellar bike ..specifications and general beauty wise...but the red with minimal decals is kinda blah..... Not suggesting they go Rsv4R on us..although I love that scheme...but how about a little more pizazz???
 
I agree. I thought with what they did on the SL that they may have moved that way. Guess I'll have to add my own. I'd like to see one with half red half black broken up by green or white.
 
All the bling and bustle is under the skin, the have resisted the garish tackieness of the japs.
 
funny the difference in what people like about things....I like the clean look of the ducati, something like the R graphics is all i need.

Ducati should be red, Kawasaki green, Suzuki blue/white....etc

I hated most of the S1000RR paint schemes, but I LOVE what they did with the HP4.

Different & done very well. Bike really stands out.

I wish Ducati would take some things like MV does. I really like some of the MV paint schemes.

They need to do more colors like the tri-color.
 
I'm with Scrapper on this one. Love the classy look gives it greater street presence. My track fairings on the other hand is a different story whatever sticker/decals I could find were slapped on

Amen. There's just a classiness thing there. I don't want something that looks like a Japanese bike and never got why the Tricolor was in any way desirable.

I wonder if they will do a 1299 Tricolore next year?

I live the way it looks.....Leave the kid graphics to the other makes!!! Just what I don't like about the new R1...TOO MANY GRAPHICS.....
 
I like the ducati plain..then add carbon belly pans and a few slanted decals of pirelli , magneti marelli, etc stickers in white in a slanted presentation and you're all set!! ... ;)
 
The 916 and 1199 don't need graphics to look good. Other bikes do.

A clean single color bike is fairly rare around here. Stands out even more. We have to mod quite a bit on a Suzuki or Honda to get them to run one color and still look good.

I am not a graffix fan, I love the simple paint scheme with he name Ducati on the fairings. That will do for me.
