Am I alone??

Sometimes an extra bling is welcome... but then it would take the glory of models like the "tricolore", "R" and the special editions.

They are being loyal to the story that they have built along the years.

Am I alone in wishing that Ducati was more adventurous with its graphics?? 1299 looks like a stellar bike ..specifications and general beauty wise...but the red with minimal decals is kinda blah..... Not suggesting they go Rsv4R on us..although I love that scheme...but how about a little more pizazz???

I like the simple yet sophisticated look. Not trying too hard like Gixxer, R1, and H2 graphics. The SL graphics are cool though.

I wish they offered the light gold or gunmetal color Marchesini wheels and the monoposto tails with white like the old 916/996/998.

If you want graphics you buy the tricolore. A Ducati should be red and that's it. Solid colours look best, the design and badge does the talking.

They will bring another tricolore in the first modelyear of the completely new bike, see 1098 and panigale. I wonder if it will be called 1316 or just 1299 with a new italian sounding word going with it.

Or yellow.

My yellow '97 748 Mono was gorgeous with the white number plate on the rear and the Cagiva-era "Ducati 748" in gold on the sides.

If yellow had been available when I bought my 1199, I would taken that instead.

What do you guys think of these?
