Hey all!! my name is Rob and I picked up my tri-pan on a fri night and the next morning I am so amped to ride it, I get up at 5am walk the dog. Put on the gear, start the bike, wake the neighbors and roar out of Venice CA for the Malibu Canyons. Crush Saddlepeak and rip on to pch headed to latigo and up go the lights!!!! I get pulled over, the policeman clocks me at 86mph. I have this .... eating grin and say "its brand new, sorry" and he turns admires the bike says "it really is awesome" and lets me go!!!!!!!!!!!

The rest of the day was filthy too. I took a four time NCAA gymnast surfing! Epic gentleman

Personally, I only put 95 miles on the bike, but I totally dig it! IT is hot, but not too hot. More stories to follow! great reading all the posts! Rob

another reason to get this hot bike: immunity from traffic police!

120km on the clock first ride
pulled up by highway patrol
re: my rear numberplate
talked my way out of it - bla bla bla, but he wasnt to happy

i do my best to stay no more than 8-10 over the limit but I try to get there as fast as possible!

It's hard to keep it within 8-10. I just don't get the sensation of speed I get on my streetfighter or RSV4. I've come so close to getting popped by the police a bunch of times.

I'll be riding in Malibu this weekend, really hope I don't get a ticket. Have done zero canyon riding but 2 trackdays so far

I was pulled over with only 100 miles on it. I was told I was doing well over 100, but he gave me a ticket only for 83mph because the bike was new...I swear to God, used to my Speed triple, I didnt feel like I was going fast at all, it migth have something to do with the low pitch of the engine
