Met up with Mark419NY at NJMP to watch buddy Josh Hayes try to make a comeback from way behind in points. Great weather, great friends, and even greater being able to hang out in the Graves Yamaha hospitality area with all the food and team.
I was very touched when Josh and the head of all Yamaha Roadracing, Keith McCarty presented me and Russell with a special water bowl they made specifically for him. They put his name on it, Monster & Yamaha stickers, and was signed by both Josh Hayes and Josh Herrin too! He took it in his mouth and ran around the entire tent jumping over chairs and people!
Very, Very nice gift from the best folks in the paddock!
Some pics of us with some of them to share. Last one is my cousin Mike Fitzgerald who is the suspension guru Thermosman I've been telling you all about for years. He is Crew Chief for the GoPro Team EBR now.
*When I arrived wearing a Ducati shirt I was quickly squared away with a YES Team Yamaha shirt to be a team player!
