i guess the push is on for more events. very happy to see miller added. its a great track. i road it for 3 days its what got me hooked on track days.

Nice. Glad to see more AMA SBK races being added. Hopefully we can get a few more.

Considering the logistial and financial ramifications for adding the Miller round to the schedule (That round has lost money every year for the AMA), I think it really shows how hard Moto America is pushing to expand racing in the US. Especially given the short timetable that they have had to put this whole thing together.

That said....KTM Cup rules anyone? It's at the point now that teams aren't going to be ale to run due to not having enough time to prep bikes etc.

yep moving bikes east to west coast is not cheap

Isn't the closest AMA race to there Laguna Seca? Other than that its Texas which is far as hell. Hopefully they are smart and line those 3 up. Miller, Laguna then COTA.

Never understand why the races are zig zagging across the US.

Have to give it a few years before they can really expand the schedule. They are going to likely want more west coast rounds in the future, it's just they really did not have the time or resources to be adding additional rounds during the first year. Miller surprises me because, while it's an amazing track, it doesn't draw much of a crowd presence currently and it's out in the middle of nowhere (tough for teams to get to). The only way to really offset this is through TV revenue. I didn't think they would add many tracks to the schedule until they ran a season first and could establish a real marketing presence etc. I haven't really read the particulars of the TV package, but they must be getting more advertising money than I figured they would be already.
