Amazing Doctor that raced..

I just watched this video of Dr. John Hinds.. An Irish doctor that was also a racer himself. a great guy and an excellent doctor that attended to many racers.. He died racing himself at the Skerries Road Races in County Dublin Ireland...
Watch this video of his presentation He has a great sense of humor.

He was an amazing guy.

May he rest in peace.

Seemed like a hell of a guy from the video...shame the sport we love has such unforgiving characteristics. He mentioned how many times he had been down and that he still couldn't learn to stay away, and that surely resonates with most of us. There's something about riding that keeps a real rider coming back. It's freedom in a pure form and the lay person can't and won't understand that. I gave up on explaining why I ride a long time ago to non-riders. He is the epitome of dedication, and any sport would benefit from someone like him. Great yet sad video.
