This is either going to be really cool, or the biggest waste of time and money ever! Ha ha!

New race bike for the TrackAddix Lightweight GP class, 400 Scrambler! I'm gonna take on the Ninja 300's and show them who's boss! Still have more to do, rearsets, shock bunch of other stuff, but it's ready for testing at our track day on Monday now.

It would be great if that worked well, and something else could be competitive against those G.D. Kawasaki twins.

awesome! what are these white tapes (?) on the frame good for?
Is this exhaust stainless steel or Ti?

Those are the frame stickers for U.S. compliance. The exhaust is an Akrapovic full titanium header, and a stainless New Race Cycles muffler.

First race completed, finished 7th instead of battling up front. Still have some work to do. I was still having major ground clearance issues in practice, so I cranked the preload all the way up on the forks and shock. This made a big difference in ground clearance but obviously the bike didn't handle as well. That part should be fixed when my Mupo racing shock comes in, which has a ride-height adjuster on it. In practice I was grinding the titanium header on the ground and throwing a shower of green sparks behind me in all the right-hand turns! I think getting the ride height up is worth 3-4 secs/lap, but I have 7 secs to make up to be running at the front like I was on the Ninja 300. Yaman at Rapid Bike USA got me a new RB Evo unit with the rev limiter raised up 1500 rpm, which made a big difference, now I think the major issue is the tiny airbox with the tiny port opening, we're going to try to put a pod filter on instead and see what that does. If that's not enough, then we'll have no choice but to start messing with the engine. C'est la vie!

Next track test coming up on Monday! Got my Mupo racing shock with ride-height adjuster, took the entire front of the airbox off and capped the throttle body with a homemade pre-filter, and installed a 16T front sprocket to give it more legs on the straight. Go Baby Scrambler, Go!! Ha ha! :D
