Why, are the Netherlands nicer to each other on the internet? The web warrior .... is universal (human capacity for cowardice). That said, I find the Ducati web better than most MC websites in civility and intelligence. Yes, you sods are a relatively cultured lot. LOL!

It is a limited bike, although an S with a really nice paint job (good paint isn't cheap) plus you have mods that might be worth something. Did it get better QC from Ducati? I don't know. Cycletrader has limited value because it's notorious for ads on bikes already sold but dealers don't remove the ads. I don't care what web it is, people who put out their machine with what MIGHT be a relatively high price get trounced on universally. I don't know why because enthusiasts hurt themselves in the long run by de-valuing their bike. We want our bikes to be worth more although not artificially.

Braapsi, I honestly hope you get your price or close to it. I am on the dealers list for a 1408 but I don't think I could pay that much for a bike, any bike (although if I had that kind of money to throw around, this would be the only bike I would consider). At that price, there are some other cool toys to have, not necessarily a bike. But I do like the Anniversario so I will keep you in mind when I get my mind made up. So what is it about the 1408 that you're willing to pay double of your bike? As an investment, I don't think it will fare any better than the 1199 SL did as good as that bike was. I'd venture to say there would be an easy $20-25K drop as you roll it out the dealers door. I hope I'm wrong but probably not.

Title in hand? How much different would it be if the bank has it?

Problems I see

1: This isn't the classified section.

2: Once the bike rolls off the lot, knock off $3000-5000. It's a used bike.

3: Modifications aren't worth h more than 50 cents to the dollar, if that.

4: Cost of first service added to price? $0!!! You're supposed to maintain it.

5: ITS A USED BIKE!!!!
At these prices people want a new bike to break in their own way and either keep it pristine or modify their own way. Just like when trading in, modifications are worth $0.

I have a guy that's been after me to sell it for the last three years. The price doesn't matter because I'm not selling it. I'll give it to my baby brother first. I've never bought a bike as an investment and I know the difference between new and used.

who asked about the title, it is financed with DFS. Therefore the bike will be sold with a bill of sale and the title will take a few weeeks for Ducati to release to the new owner.

I so stupid i paid cash for a base 1199. What I should've done is go and finance a $30k bike, ride it for a bit then sell it for more than i paid while telling the fools its brand new. Braapsti is a genius

I know you right about that, It just a new guy that post in the wrong section and this 2 guys just start attacking the poor ......., we don't know if he got ripped off with the bike or not , that is his asking price if people don't like it just don't buy it or summit a better offer. it that simple.

True, but people are always going to talk people down off a price. He'll just today I saw a guy tymry to negotiate the price of his coffee. Like anything he's more than welcome to ask what's wrong he was talking for his bike, that's his right, but expect some ...., after all we are only human.
