Hi Everyone,

It's been great reading all the posts on here, I'm sure it is going to be very helpful at times.

My name is Jason, and live just west of Sydney. I've owned my Tricolore since June this year, and couldn't be more impressed. What an absolute freakin beast it is. I've had the Termi slip-on's fitted and the racing Up-map programmed in on the first service and took it down to the MotoGp on Phillip Island with the girlfriend on the back. Clocked up more than 3,400km's and around 45 hours in the saddle, and she didn't miss a beat. The bike that is, the girlfriend won't be doing that again I don't think.

Unfortunately I haven't been around the track yet, but I did win the Show"n"Shine at the GP, and was fortunate enough to do a parade lap around Phillip Island on the Sunday of the race behind the Safety Car. What a buzz that was.

Also own a 2000 Monster Dark 750, which is still sitting in the garage, and in time I'll start pulling her apart and giving her some much needed attention.

Cheers

Hi Jason, welcome to the Ducati 1199 Forum!

Nice avatar! Does your cat like your Panigale as much as you do?

Duc, she's exercising on of her nine lives in that photo. Lucky for her I have the tank bag protector fitted. lol

Welcome, you have great taste in motorcycles Jason :)

Did you get your map update done yet? That's also a bit of a game changer :D

lol that's awesome!

Your picture has inspired me to post up a new thread, giving you proper credit of course:

:D

Cheers Duc. You already have quite a few comments, and good photos.

Yes Xbox, as soon as I clocked up the 1000km service limit, I fitted both the Termi's and the up-map. Definitely noticed the difference, but it wasn't as obscenely loud as I thought it was going to be, but love that pop between gears. Noticed the heat wasn't as bad either. The fueling down low was also better, and the mid range was superb. Certainly get's the front end nice and flighty.

Termis are more deep and booming than stockers, but still loud enough IMO.

Did you have these fitted in the last month, as I was referring to the new updated maps from Ducati. I've been running around with v1 maps since May and noticed a very significant performance improvement with the updates, as everyone has :)

No, I don't think I've had that update yet, but I will be inquiring on my next service for sure. I've only had the UP-Map installed which came with the slip-on's. Thanks for the heads up
