Another New ECU/ MAP update ?

:confused:Just got off the phone with my dealership...
My bike is still there waiting on parts to come in before they deliver the bike to me...( I purchased this 2013 Tricolore brand new at the end of Sept ,and I am still waiting for the aftermarket parts).....

Anyways, the main tech guy told me a NEW ECU update had come in last week from DUCATI for our bikes... I don't know if this is a new MAP....

He said he would perform the update to my bike this week....

Can anyone else verify if there is a new update of some sorts by calling your dealership...::confused:

no, i won't call my dealer for this. just be patient :D it's just a map ;)

its pronounced STEALERSHIP please make note i would call for you but i know more than they do. i told them about the oil site viewer and the part number for it, i told them about the signal and horn issue, i told them about the heat shield upgrade, and i told them about the sprocket upgrade. so i will save the time and tell you the answer . WE DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS UPMAP. IF WE HEAR SOMETHING WE WILL LET YOU KNOW.

On a side bar, given that this tread has turned in to a quest to find out is the Prince fugly or interesting :D

Are we entitled to up dated maps free of charge ?
Are we entitled to book in with the dealer for this sole purpose ?

I ask because I have had the first update but not the gearing change one. I have changed the gearing but did not avail of the "discounted Ducati chain/sprocket offer", just dropped a tooth off the front.

This unfortunately, is my day to day look.. i have only come here to discuss bikes and learn from you, the "people"....

When my bike was in for the 600 miles service, the dealer updated my map. I had the random stalling issue before, hasn't stalled since the updated map. Bike has about 1400 miles now.
