Sorry but Ducati is still not wining on wsbk and also I don't care about superstock. This is the first time in Ducati history that they are racing with a bike that it won't win and the only reason they can do it is because now the got Audi big pocket.
Meh, I could have bought the Kawa, Ape, or the BMW. i just liked the Panigale the best.
As for WSBK, racing ain't easy. Just because Ducati ain't winning the championship this year, doesn't make your bike, or your riding skills, any worse.
Alot of people like to hang all kinds or preconceived notions on race results, but it's all BS. It could just be a better team at Kawa. Or better luck. Or just plain a better combination of both with some good tuning luck as well.
Either way, over the past 20 years, Ducati, a relative tiny company, has kicked plenty of arse in WSBK. You can't win every year. Especially with a twin.
Superstock does showcase the talents of the 1199 well. I'm never going to go faster, or have more skill than the Superstock guys. And a twin IS going to work best for me on a track day.
Just because Jorge or Rossi wins a race with an I4 crossplane engine, with an evil countershaft balencer (hate those things), that's no reason to slap my wife or kick my Ducati over.
