Hello Guys, just picked up my S during the week and I absolutely love it.

Come from many years of sport bikes (R1, GSXR's, TLR) and the last two years owning a Nightrod. The Harley was just not me and I was tossing up with the Duke when I bought it but I have really bad knees and thought it would suit me better.

So glad to have the Duke in the garage now though!

I did post this in the Oz forum but thought I'd say hello to all.

Welcome! You're right on the doorstep of Thunderbolt's. Apart from the lumps in the road...an awesome piece of road...among many in that area. I notice you too have the comfort seat. I've had my S for just over a year and love it as well.
 
I have the R and I'm debating if I should get the comfort seat or the DP race seat. Mind you the stock R seat is a race seat but it's not the same as the one you buy from the dealer. No ducati performance logo etched on. How is the comfort seat treating you?

When I test rode the bike the thing that struck me most, after the sound and performance, was the absolute rock hard seat hence the comfort seat.

The comfort seat is still fairly firm but is slightly more comfortable but it is also a bit taller so it gives me an extra inch or two of leg room.
