Any experience or thoughts with these rear sets?

love my Rizoma rearsets.... and they sell at a much better price and a very great product especially if you're just street riding

Definitely nice (as is with most Rizoma pieces) and without the word Panigale stamped on them.

Don't care much for the 4R.

Found the "Gilles" to be the best bang for the buck.
They all look pretty nice, but if you loose or bend something it's nice to be able to go back where you got them.

ok .... it, I take it back I just got back from a ride and my RIZOMA left side shifter came off .... was stuck in 4th gear and ended up riding back home in 4th gear the entire time. So unhappy right now. The screw just came loose and came off the bike who knows where... can't even retrace my steps to find it. :( Rizoma USA isn't picking up because it's saturday. Hopefully I can get a hold of them and order a replacement soon. this sucks

Ha, told you! If you don't use Lightechs, anything could happen. Hell, you could throw a piston, break a valve, or the whole bike could just blow-up :D

really hoping I can order just the part and real quick instead of replacing the entire rearset.... too expensive to buy a whole new rearset when these are perfectly new just missing the left shifter now. FUUUUUUUCK !!!! i'm pissed. should have gone with lightechs in the first place like Carlos Checa

I have fitted the Austin Racing rearsets, rode with them for the first time today, and they feel as good as they look IMO.

Went for the titanium anodised rather than black. Like the uncluttered look, not trying to compete with the styling - just compliment it. Easy to fit if you take it steady (disconnect the pivoting parts each side and fit to the bike first, then the main body part, then main body to bike). Machining quality and final finish is excellent.

I have them set to 'same as stock' position as they came out of the box, but might change them to set the pegs further back (but not up) once the roads improve and can try through faster corners.

I'm sure they do, here is the reverse shifter, they are bound to sell the standard one. Just email your favorite Rizoma site, or even my dealer (and most) carry Rizoma and could look at their catalog. I'd call today so you don't frett all w/e!

everyone is closed today (saturday) I have to wait till Monday to call and hopefully they do a very quick shipment for me. Im also hoping a simple install on my part. looks like just the screw fell off that holds the shifter to the rest of the rearset

Do I have to do everything for you? :) I called my dealer - most open Satrurday, closed Monday. He said $216 (the Feeler version, also an RRC). Couldn't order until Tuesday, 2-3 days if in stock at Rizoma USA.

Lightech all the way..if they are good enough for Checa they should be good enough for us...picture took at Phillip Island WSBK before he ran into the back of Melandri :)

Sorry to hear this happened. For what it is worth, Rizoma are pretty good about supplying sub-parts so you should be fine.

I had my rearset bolt vibrate out and lock against the gear shifter. This was not in fact a problem with the rearsets it was purely down to the bolts not securely "locktited".

The reason that Checa has "Lightechs" on his bike is down to the fact that "Lightech" paid him to do so - they are a sponsor.

They sponsored Stoner as well, but these riders wouldn't use this equipment if they didn't trust them to help them win. All top name rearsets are well built, it boils down to looks and adjustabliity. Then capability to reverse shift if that is what you desire.

Just adding a data point; hadn't seen these mentioned yet.

SATO RACING | Rear Sets - DUCATI 1199 Panigale / S

Nice to see someone actually publish what they do positionally relative to stock. Seems like most people buy rearsets for looks with no real idea where their feet are going to end up. To someone with a cycling background, that's just strange. Position is 90% of what I'd be looking for.

Those are nice, there is a whole thread on them, and several other mentions in this forum. They make a great set for my K1300S I am considering.
