I love the look and the idea of the panigale but I have yet to see one in the flesh. I am 6'3" and have read that the bike may not fit my frame. Any real world experiance out there?

I'm 6'6", and while I look HUGE when sitting up (I have a very long back), i can get behind the DP windscreen no problem. Really comfy for such a small machine.

Hope that helps.

I'm 6'3". The bike feels very natural. The only thing I need is a more comfortable seat for the long hauls. Just did an hour long 50 mile drive, and no aches and pains on my end..

did 4 hours and was fine. Im 6.2

I was really shocked at how comfortable the bike was.

Look at it this way. Last time i was on a sport bike i was in my early 20's, Im 39 now and the bike was a breeze to ride and very comfortable. I like the grip of the racing seat so I picked one up. Not sure why they changed the profile of the seat that is delivering now! The thinner profile in the catalog is not what you get. :(

I'm 6 foot and 0 inches, the bike feels amazing no complaints in size or fitment. I don't think another 3 inches should be a problem at all. Aftermarket rearsets might help if you feel cramped but I think your height should not be an issue.

Thanks for the input. I am on the hunt for a base with ABS. Made a couple of calls and no joy yet. I will head over to Go Arizona and make a deposit Tuesday. They have no idea when but at least I will be in line.

I would think the bike, any bike, would be more comfortable bigger guys like you actually. I'm average, 5'11", 175lbs, and found the 1198 to be very uncomfortable (pain in wrists and lower back) after about an hour. Which I thought was caused by a too far stretch to the bars. Do you get painfully uncomfortable on sport bikes, or just feel cramped up on them?

It kind of looks like you are on a mini bike.

That Tricolore looks damn nice. I can't freaking wait till mine gets here.

I have 2 herniated discs with chronic back pain. One of the reasons I got rid of my beloved Hyper and I'd never own a cruiser is the upright seating position, every bump is translated directly to your spine.
On a sportsbike, my weight is more evenly distributed between my feet, butt and hands.
So as odd as it might seem, a sportsbike is more comfortable for me than anything else.

Hey panny of doom did your tri come with the termi s on or they added them later? And how many miles?!

The new rumor is mid July delivery. I can ride year round here so I will deal with the wait. Thanks everyone for your responses.

I'm 6'2" and feel VERY comfy on the bike... Was actually quite surprised that this is more comfy than my old CBR 600RR

Hey pannyodoom.. your bike looks sweet but I think you should walk over next door and see where the neighbor with the Jetta bought those pimp ... fender vents.

I had them install the full system right away, and had the bike broken in on the dyno. If people are curious, the bike hasnt smoked a hair since I picked it up. Seated rings well! Bike has maybe 60 miles on it. Haven't had much time to ride since I brought her home, and I have to get used to riding with a roasted .... I need to walk around my office and randomly set my ... on fire to get used to the feeling. :)

Yes, my inner child dies a little everytime I see them.

Im 6'1' and find the Pani has more than enough room i ceratianly dont need adjustable rearsets like normal.Though i do find the footpegs don't give enough grip especially when wet !!
