I just got done checking out the German forum and ran across an issue that I found on my bike as well:

It seems to be only R specific where the chain is rubbing against the swing arm.
Has anyone encountered the same and what was the response from your dealer?

I read about this somewhere a while ago. Pitch of the chain or something. Sorry I cannot remember.

Time to switch to a 520 and get some space!

Would seem like a warranty issue. What does your dealer say?

Hello

My front sprocket was mounted correctly and I also had the rubbing on the swing arm. Got a new chain as the chain was lengthened (uh oh hope you understand what I mean ) unevenely.

And it is not only a R problem, there are also some normal and S with the same problem.

The picture looks horrible because of the flash, the material that went off is 0.2mm or just the powdercoating. I will not let Ducati change the swing arm because of that minor issue. I put some paint on it and its fine since ***km :)
