As above states, anyone got an 80nm for the ohlins they would like to get rid of?

cheers,

Why not, Just go down to Slacks Creek to the OHLINS suspension guy and have it installed with the sag all set up ready to go.

Alternatively you may like to go to see Bevan at Bowen Hills for the same service.

yes, i've used Steve at slacks creek a few times however the springs are piece of piss to install, i've already got a 85nm in, i just wanted to try a 80...i'm in between the two with my weight....closer to the 80 than 85 but i went 85 because of pace.

if know one has one yes i will just order one

The 80 will be interesting to try in your case then:)

Have you got any preload on the 85?
Or is it backed right off.

bout 3-5mm of thread...sag is in the ballpark and through the mountain i'm generally happy with it, as you would know around SEQ there is some .... roads but still worth doing if your suspension can handle it. I still think the bike is not using enough of it's travel in the rear.

I'm hearing you.

Actually I'm in the same boat as yourself and contemplating the exact same course of action with regard to spring weights.
I've been working on loosing weight and stabilizing at a weight that feels good to me.
I've lost about 20 kgs in the last 2.5 years so I'm close to making a decision.
Then I'll be settling on a spring to suit.

If you find that you have an 85 spring left over at the end of it.
Perhaps I could purchase it from you to try for myself if your not going to hang onto it?
I think an 85 is what I'll be settling on unless I end up changing the linkage to "P"
