Just got my bike Tuesday. Its got 2700 miles on it. When the ignition is on this pops up.

However the number is not going down as the bike is being driven.. It stays at that?
 
You said you got it Tuesday?? How many miles have you put on it since??

Add the mileage on the bike to the number on the oil service indicator... It comes to 7500...ie the oil service interval...so to me all sounds normal....The number will drop...
 
Snap a new pic. The first one is right.

The number will drop in 50 mile segments from what I remember.
