Just wondering if anyone has this and if they have a pic of it on the bike.I'm running without mirrors and have the block off plates in.I think the factory mirrors are horrible looking and can't stand them.I've seen the Oberon kit but not actually on the 1199 to see if it looks decent

Funny that you should ask. I just installed the RhinoMoto "CRG" bar end sliders.

RHINOMOTO "CRG" Handle Bar Sliders: Ducati 1199 Panigale, Aprilia RSV4

I picked up a single CRG "Blindside" mirror, but won't put it on until my block out plates have arrived. If the mirror works well I'll order another.

Note--the RhinoMoto bar end sliders have a replaceable cap that you can remove if you don't want the added protection/width.

I also have a question about these. Does the Oberon panigale kit come with the extended mount for bar end mirrors or is that something u have to buy seperate?

I wanted to order the Oberon bar end turn signals kit of the motowheels website. I personally find it very vague as to what you for sure need. There are two other part numbers mentioned outside the kit so i don't know if you need them or not.

so from here, you just pick what mirror you want and bolt em on? That bar end signal kit is a bit pricey. If it includes the mirrors i may do it but if it's the signals only...i may skip it and just do the set up you have there with mirrors

Its signals only. Then you can attach a Rizoma, CRG of whatever other mirror on the adapter /IF/ you buy the adapter that allows it. They have bar end adapters that are just to attach the signal lights and also ones to attach the signal lights and accommodate mirrors.

Thanks everyone for the info. I think I'm just going to go with the sliders as shown here and the CRG blindsight mirror,SKU:CRG2-1-37 on the motowheels site. It's small, reasonably priced and should look good. Not so much concerned with having signals in the front as the back. I guess being safe is most important, but in front I can see what's goin on. Near 200 bucks seems a bit steep to me.

With this mod...what happened to your rear turn signals? Do you still use them on the road? How would it look with no signals upfront and having them still at the rear?

I have the DP tail tidy and it keeps things looking clean in the back and the front looks clean without the stock mirrors. Not being biased, but I think it looks great. The stock mirrors in my opinion..and to each is own..totally ruin the flow visually of the bike. I think the bike looks way more sleek and racy with them off. That being said..running without any mirrors is not all that bright from a safety stand point and i've been pulled over already with a warning.Think he only let me go cause he loved the bike so much..haha. I figure the smaller mirrors up front will be a happy medium. No signals on the front looks fine to me

I installed the Oberon bar end signals and the CRG mirrors and found it pretty straightforward, except for the need to remove the front fairing, which was kind of scary for the first time (would take me 20 minutes now that I know what to do). I ordered the connector kit that allows them to plug into the stock pani signal wires, and the blanks for the antler holes in the fairing. CRG mirrors clamped right on the bar end signals no problem. Looks good, works well, very happy I did it. Also track prep is much easier now, just tape the signals and pop the mirrors off, no more antler surgery.

You didn't have to buy adapters to make the crg mirrors for between the signal and the handle bar?

Yup.

Still have the rears. Still (at this point) have the fronts. Will be replacing the front signals with these Lux Machine LED block-off plates:

Lux Machine Inc.

Dennis, the Euro spec rear turn signals are plug and play and really help "lighten the load" in the rear. I just installed the Lux plates last night, removing the front stalk mirrors do affect the bike's aesthetic balance in my eyes but the smaller signals/shorter tail tidy help to mitigate that.

Good point on the balance--hadn't thought of that, but I like the Euro markers. I just discovered that my rear turn signals flash opposite to the way they're supposed to. Fronts blink properly, rears are backwards. Wasn't always that way! Once I get my electricals worked out I'll either go with those or work on my own LED solution.

And thanks again for the FedEx!!!!

YOu do have to buy the adapters. They extend it so that the mirrors can fit between the leds and the grip

I used the CRG mirrors and didn't buy any adaptors, they just bolted right on and look just like the pic at the top of this thread.

I think he is talking about the end mirrors and the signals. To fit both you need an extender/adapter.

I bought it from motowheels

Perfect setup and looks waaaaay better than stock and WORKS even better!

Notice I have CRG Arrows and the bi-directional turn signal bar ends.
