Apparently the exhaust cover isn't just for looks

heh, i messed up my stock exhaust cover installing some slip ons. some of the screws were stuck from a combination of red loctite, heat, etc.

i have an aftermarket cover on the way, but i just took a ride with it off. whoo boy. i usually don't feel any direct heat on my right side, but man, cookin without an exhaust cover.

 
Buy full system no more heat issues.even with heat shield going to be very hot.cats hold lot of heat.like I said full system and lose those engine covers this do the trick

My Streetfighter V4 had a full Akra and no engine covers. It was MUCH better than my stock Panigale V4S. I took the engine covers off of the V4S and I kept checking to see if my left leg was on fire.
 
Any issues with the heat from exhaust cooking you with the Akrapovic full TI system.
