Approached by Police officer.. Who makes the brightest Integrated Tail light?

If your mind is correct, you'll put a turn signal anyway.
That policeman is nice, interested in ducati and kind enough to advice (no fines?). Very lucky state to have such gentleman.

Trust me, being rear ended by a car and sandwiched is not something you want to experience. I've done it, proven not enjoyable, have a lasting effect.

Turn signals or hand signals do not guarantee a safe lane change. Trust me. Being aware of your surroundings is the safest tactic.

Try riding a chopper with nothing but a headlight (legal) but does require a different level of experience.

I think I may be the only one who doesn't like the NRC kit. Effective, yes, but aesthetically and craftsmanship wise, nope. Granted there isn't anything out for sale at the moment that is functionally better.

I agree. Ideal would be an integrated, bright, well built tail light. For one reason or another no manufacturer is able to make one at this time.

So the NRC is the only decent option at this time.

The turn signal plastic seems a bit cheaply made. Like you say there isnt something better that cleans up the tail currently.

I agree--I use the NRC just because it is very bright and somewhat inconspicuous. I also wish someone made a really bright effective integrated unit.

Hopefully all your wires are still in tact and have the OEM connectors, otherwise you might run into some problems installing the NRC kit. When I bought my bike the previous owner installed a Comp Werks kit and butchered the connections. The dealer I bought the bike from (Harley dealer) had to bring the bike to Ducati Omaha just to get the blinkers to work again before they could sell it. DO was only able to revert back the the OEM setup. When I went to install my NRC kit I learned the OEM connectors weren't all there due to the previous owner cutting and splicing wires.

Well, with the electrical wiring of these bikes, they're super finicky. Needs to be spot on resistance or else it's not going to function properly. Case in point. I spliced all the connections I needed to splice to hook up my NRC kit and the blinkers didn't work. That same night I ordered a new rear wiring loom form eBay because I had a hunch that was the case. Sure enough, it was. Installed the new loom, plugged and played the NRC and I was GTG.

Yes I checked mine. Thankfully the PO did not butcher any of the wires, oem connectors still in tact.
only the tag light wire was spliced but neatly

UPS should deliver it tomorrow, looking forward to it
