AGV Pista Carbon or AGV Pista Italiano are now my go to helmet. My Arai Carbon is is my track helmet and my Shoei RF 1200 is reserved for night riding. I tried liking the Shuberth its a great helmet but it rips off my ears when taking it off so I sold it.

It comes down to head shape and fit.
Both fit very differently. Arai fit my head better because I'm a bit more round so I've always run Corsair Vs. My mates run the Pistas because the fit is better for them. The AGVs are significantly lighter for the same price and cut through the wind really well but are proportionally larger. The Arais are smaller and more compact. Both are excellent helmets and both have strong points. The shape and extra vision the Pista provides is really nice and a standout feature.
Can't go wrong with either.

Had someone recommend a Bell RS-1/Star a few years back when I was looking for a replacement for my Shoei X-Tec.
Quieter and fitted better than the Shoei. Arai just don't fit my head. Too narrow.

I have had Arai, Shoei and now an AGV.
-The visibility better in the Arai
-Inside padding better in the Arai
-Less Noise in the Arai
-The AGV is lighter
-The AGV is noisier
-The AGV's have better graphics IMO
-The AGV's have a better mechanism for fast shield release.
I dont wanna go back to a Shoei again, merely because price point is in the middle and I feel that Arai or AGV is a better helmet for me. Not that they arent a good company. They make an excellent product.

I always wore Arai till I recently bought an AGV corsa I think agv may be a little lighter also not as much lift because the face in not as round. Only thing I have found so far is I think the arai has a little more air flow but I have only got to wear it in town
