Well, I'm another victim of the loosening parts. I lost a screw holding my heat shield on the right muffler. And the other is loose too. I was cleaning up the bike and getting it ready for a long cold winter when I noticed the shield was rattling.
I'm hoping that it can be covered under warranty. (gotta call the shop) Since I have to get the last recall signed off anyway.
I suppose pulling the exhaust can't be that painful either. Seems like half dozen screws, two springs, a butterfly valve, a six pack of beer and some patients to get it off.
