If there was a way to un-blue them... black ceramic???

if the cans were black with that carbon belly pan it would look good IMO.

even if you don't like the titanium welding I'm surprised the hate on the motogp style exhaust routing . does anyone think the exhaust flows with the bike ?

the other exhaust I've seen looked like snaggletooth sticking up on one side and down on the other .

oh well to each his own

Why are the tires Saran wrapped? Are they gonna spoil?

Its like a Star Wars figure in the blister pack.....if you take it out the value drops 30 percent. I think the pop rivet that hold it together looks like crappy pants too.....all that time and money spent on titanium with fancy welds, and they use a Home Depot rivet to hold it together.

jesus stop i just about pissed my pants lmfao

That bike is going to EICMA. So go figure, he wants to keep the tires pristine.

Also, gas tight rivets are state-of-the-art in MC exhausts. They differ a bit from home depot LOL

GOOD LORD!!!

Why does the v4 attract ...... aftermarket exhausts? Are they trying to see what they can get away with?

For Sherpa and others interested.... Tooling for complex bends is very expensive. Factory race teams for many years have used multiple cut weld angles to make exhausts in small quantities because they are constantly experimenting for best performance. Obviously for production purposes, once a design is decided, it is more efficient to tool up. There are those in the market place, and many Ducati owners fall into this category, that find aesthetics (somewhat subjective) paramount and many find the "factory" race look appealing. As they say, "to each his own"...

The exhaust I ordered is titanium and has plenty of sections, but doesn't resort to pie cuts for the bends. I had a Werkes exhaust with pie cut titanium on a different bike a year or two ago and one of the mounting bracket bolts wiggled loose, allowing the exhaust to wiggle a bit. I noticed it immediately, but before I could even get to a stopping point, the exhaust broke at one of the pie cut sections.

Took it to a local welder and he said the pie cuts looked really pretty but made it weak. So I'm not a big fan of that kind of thing anymore.

Where did you source yours please??

I contacted them directly. It took me about a week to wire the money since I had never done it before, but they prepared the exhaust and everything while that was happening. Shipped it out the day the funds cleared.

They also threw in the rearsets for pennies on the dollar since they weren't sure if the exhaust would work with the stock ones. Got the 3/4 system and STM rearsets for 4800-ish USD, including shipping and tax.

I really like the Arrow, except the blue cans.... Make them black and I would be interested then..I noticed Graves have been making the blue cans for awhile now, at least they look decent on the Yamaha race bikes...When I bought my 2001 Red r1 it came stock with the big blue titanium exhaust way back then, Remember?

Can you elaborate on what the "3/4" system is? They've quoted me close to 4k for stainless and 6k for Ti FULL systems...?

stock headers, like the arrow.

Normally I believe that's the case but Maverick's pic shows perhaps something more than that - looks like rear header included - thus getting rid of the wart that comes stock.

When did they give you that quote?

3/4 system means it re-uses the stock front headers, so it's just the latter 3/4 of the entire system. Means you don't have to remove the front wheel/radiator and all that jazz to install it.

They don't sell a stainless version as far as I know. They quoted something like 3800 euros for the 3/4 and 4100 euros for the full system originally. It's all titanium.

The quotes I've received have been from a dealer in the UK
