Has anyone fitted an Autocom system on a Panigale.
Have ordered a super pro kit for Bike to Bike radio comms for my Alps trip.
Need to find somewhere to mount the unit. It ain't gonna fit under the pillion seat!!
Also need a switched feed.
Any ideas?

You mean an intercom?

I have a Sena Bluetooth dual transmitter under my seat that is hooked up to my Laser detector if that's what you mean?

Yeah it prob is way over the top but it allows me to hook everything up and work together, bike to bike radio , iPod, phone and sat nav.
System mutes music etc when radio is receiving automatically.
I haven't checked out the senna system. Not sure if you can get it in UK?
Autocom is ordered and paid for anyway. If I don't fit anywhere I guess I could send it back.

Well if it doesn't fit..it doesn't matter how good it is.. Get the Sena..

You might want to check out the Scala Bluetooth range. I have the Scala 4 which connects to the iPhone. Automatically sets priority for satnav over music and voice comms over anything from the iPhone. You can also get a conversion done fairly cheaply for in ear headphones. Probably not as bulky or as much wiring as the autocom system, unit is small and bolts to the side of the helmet.

It fits!!! Just need to buy a slimline radio which should fit under the autocom. Have the socket for the coiled helmet lead attached to the fuse cover flap. Near impossible to see. Also fitted an inline fuse and as its direct fed off the battery I soldered in a small toggle switch on the autocom so I can switch it off when not in use.
