I would like to take the time to say " I told you so" lol. I believe I was the first one to say it was repairable when you first posted the Burtgale.

Good one mate. I would love to ride there one day on track day on my bike.

Hopefully only about 18 months to go working two jobs then time to kick back for a while.

Will trailer down and go for a spin.
 
Well done mate, good job of revive! Enjoy the Island: Have only done it on a R6, R1 and Busa - pick my 1199R up Dec 3 so will hanging out to take it down to the island to see what it can do - You done the Creek on the 9R yet? (that will be my first outing with the new girl 17th Dec)

Hey BK.
Ridden the island plenty but not on the R been there on the old Pani my S1000 my old RSV4 race bike and my Desmosedici so keen on taking the R there .
Have raced EC quite a few times the old GP track is awesome .

Had to pull the pin on the PI trip as my bike needs another black box which will not be here in time
 
Congrats on the born again machine and have a great time at PI. Done it before? Most enjoyable track I've ever experienced and wish it was closer. Be interested in what speed you show down Gardiner. Should be impressive.

Missed the bit about PI reschedule but getting close!

Glad you stuck it out and rebuilt it...you had me a little concerned right after the crash...all that talk about giving up 2 wheels and all..:)
 
Great job on the rebuild Wilks! I'm sure your itching to get back out there.

With all the bikes you mentioned above that you tracked which is your all time favorite?
