So many ways to punctuate that thread title, but I am back to the forums. My back does not have an itch.
I sold my 1299 after just putting limited miles on it. I moved and ended up replacing it with a Triumph Thruxton R, but I am bored. I have had primarily all sport bikes, and figured I would get something that looks nice, and is a bit more comfortable for longer rides with my wife, and settled on the Thruxton R. Great bike all around, but I may want a bit more power.
A little insight...I was not a huge fan of my 1299 as it stalled and made riding dangerous. It was hot as can be, and overall it really needed to be on the track. I was in Miami, Fl at the time, so nice turns weren't readily available. I have since relocated to Denver, Co.
Any info on those that have owned both the 1299 and new V4 would be greatly appreciated.
