So we all know about the bike having issues starting when it is warm, I made a comment to my dealer last year and was blown off, this last Saturday I took the bike in and guess what happened they tried to start it and it wouldn't go. The master tech came over and told me he had a solution it is called BAS tuning I believe, its from ducati and it came out last November or so as a solution to the hard starting, but since it was cold out for most of us it just got forgotten about. They did the tune is worked on some of the servos and the throttle bodies and so far it starts after maybe a crank when hot and seems to be running a lot better. Thought I would throw this out there.

Ducati Austin did this for me and it helped, but didn't completely solve the problem. One thing does: crack the throttle while starting ala carbureted engine-style.

That has worked for me the handful of times it wouldn't start. It seems after riding it for awhile, then it sits for so many minutes, it won't start unless I give it some throttle. Very rare however.

Is this with the carbon canister already removed? I had issues too at times but after I dumped the canister it's been fine.

I think this "tune" is an acronym... ........ and Smoke....
