SLR Tuning (my terrible experience)

Any ETA for it? Sorry for pestering but this is a feature I’ve been waiting for before purchasing (unless there’s a way to upgrade the device)

It's all good. We expect the update to be pushed out to all customers sometime in Q1 2024. Along with some other diagnostic reset commands. You would just need a PC with wifi to update the OFT.

or if the bike says it needs a service....... you could always get it serviced....

A lot of people, including me, do our own maintenance. So not having to take the bike to the dealership to reset the dash reminder is convenient. Also, most dealerships charge $75-150 to simply reset it. A lot of my international customers don’t have a dealership nearby which also makes it a useful feature.

How do you stand by something that’s deleted? Your post where you .... on SLR and propped up OFT isn’t there. Your first post is after my reply to that now missing post.

My mistake. I can still see it but it looks like it’s waiting moderator approval before it’s visible to anyone else. I didn’t mention any tuner by name. And I didn’t .... on anyone. I only responded to misinformation I was reading with regards to torque limits and the feasibility of asking customers to road test tune revisions. Again, if you disagree with anything I said in particular, let me know and we can discuss. If you are just going to claim that I’m shitting on a tuner and not elaborate, then no productive discussion is possible. At the end of the day, you have 5000 post in this forum. I have 5. I’m not going to spend too much time trying to argue for the sake of arguing. If my input is not welcome on his forum, I will go back to lurking and you can rest easy 👍

How does that work considering I read it and none of your other posts need approval including the one made an hour after mine?
not needed, not useful and extremely disrespectful.. appreciate if you would delete this post
Not possible, wouldn't do it anyway. I take it you called OFT's attention to this thread, yes?

1299 here. And my exp with SLR was with this bike. I may have added to some of the issues by not realizing OP has V4

What does that have to do with anything, did or not? Regardless I have tried multiple tuners and sharing my experience.

You’re original post was visible but isn’t now. I’ve never seen a similar situation on this forum - posts aren’t routinely delayed “awaiting moderator approval”.

This thread is a .... show.
