Battery Durations

My first Diavel battery lasted only 1 year. Bike is garage kept and I use a battery tender every night. Usually I get about 2 and a half years before replacing with new battery. Has anyone experienced similar battery problems?

Have you set a pin code for the bike yet ? I know that's just a short term solution. I have heard that there are some problems with the active key at times. I see that your from Casper WY. I haven't looked where the nearest dealer is for you, but I would call them if you haven't already. I will ask mine here in Seattle if they have a solution.

For the last few weeks I have noticed my bike is sluggish to start. I've been using a tender for the past 18 months dive I bought the bike. I figured my battery was nearly dead. So last night I go check out the battery and discover one of the connections for the tender broke from all the vibration during riding. So I reconnected everything and this morning all of good again. Let's hope I get another year out of my battery.
