Do any of them allow you the option of charging the battery/running on vehicle electrical while operating?
This has been the primary stumbling block to getting a bike cam for me. I want something that works like GPS or cell phone (i.e. you can charge it while it's operating).
the problem isnt if such device is better . go pro seems to be the standard and what everybody uses. that means things are easily obtainable and workable. aftermarket stuff gets made service is easier if you have a problem etc. i am sure both the drift and the sena (i have sena bluetooth headsets they are great) are better than the go pro. I am shopping for a cam now and i think you really dont have a choice not to go with the new go pro.
there are many players better than the ipod but ipod was first and is still the standard. the dell mp3 player was probably better but nobody bought it i knew one person that had one it was messed up and he had a problem getting help. thats my point
please dont make this an itunes post or why apple stinks thats not my point
just got my gopro 3+. guess i will be selling one of my 3s. as someone said earlier, these gopros are too versatile and too prolific to pass up. i'm sure there's better but between the mounts and the battery packs and the lens, etc. you can't go wrong with gopro.
I'm considering picking up a GoPro 3+ Hero - not sure if any of you guys geek out on wearable tech, but GoPro/Pebble announced that there will be a an app for the Pebble smartwatch to allow you to use the watch as a remote - which really ups the value proposition (if you are already wearing a Pebble).
