Just spent the morning at JHP Ducati Coventry getting my suspension setup.

Basically found the original settings to stiff no matter what I tried and with UK roads being so bumpy it unsettled the bike when I was pushing on. I not really a trackday person but will attempt the odd one so most of my riding is fast road. I spoke to JHP last week and asked if there was anything that could be done.

The results are so much better now. The bike feels like it is working with the road giving more feedback and seems to absorb imperfections. It hasn't lost any of the turn in or stability but just feels more planted.

I didn't ask exact details as I'm not a technical person but they basically told me they had adjusted, ride height, sag, preload, comp & rebound and changed the springs front and rear.

If anyone is seriously considering getting there suspension setup give John at JHP a call and get it booked in. Feel free to mention my name if you want them to reference my setup.

it would awesome if you shared the setting with the rest of us.

Your weight,

Preload, Rebound & Compression setting

Weight is easy, I'm 74kg.

I'll get the comp and rebound settings on the bike later this evening but the other settings I'll have to ring the dealer tomorrow.

Hi Kam,what kind of money am I looking at to get the service you got with the new springs? Cheers Gary

Kam,

Glad it went well. As you know they did my suspension too. Made a world of difference. My bike is still in F but now more than good enough for the road for me. Not been on track yet with it.

Excellent - I'm the same weight as you so I look forward to seeing what your settings are.
