So no surprise bike Temps are up in the summer.. mine has been running at 220 ish when in traffic. Comes down to 180 when traveling. I can't hear the fan at all.. is this a normal temp for a panigale? I'm used to aprilia and ktm bikes. Don't want to hurt anything with those temps.. previous bikes highest I've seen is 217.

has a pro stock map so I had to put my fan on a manual switch. I switch on when her temps exceed 90 C and off when it drops below. Only need it in slow traffic.

I'll have to install a manual switch then. Anybody know at what temp the fan should turn on ?

Normal on a warm/hot summer day.

My fan comes on at 219...and that only happens in traffic. Once I get moving, it drops immediately to 204 and eventually down into the 180's if I can keep moving at a decent pace.

hyperdrive - here is what i noticed on my temps riding down to VA before and after engine ice.

Ride down stock coolant. lowest temp 178 at any speed above 60 mph. i couldnt get it any lower. In stop and go traffic was as hot as 218.

Ride home engine ice. this gets a little tricky so here it goes. in stop and go traffic temp was 208 but when i was under 10 mph it got up to the 218 degrees. it did take a little longer to get to 218 than the stock but got there non the less. from 60 mph to 85 mph temps were at about 178. so it was about the same as the stock coolant. at 85 mph to triple digits is where the ICE made a difference. it got as low as 162 degrees (triple digit speed)

VERDICT the job is not hard but its long and very very annoying. If you are a track rider and see those types of speeds and can use the ICE (or liquid performance) do the job. you will see a difference (hopefully feel the difference too). However if your a street guy or just cruise around town dont waste your time and money doing this change it wont be worth it for you. Side note the overflow tank even with the blue of the engine ice you cant see the level.
