Today I received a ConStand bike tower for the Panigale:
ConStands - qualitativ hochwertiges Motorradzubehör

Very cool product, does not require any modification to the fairings and is rock solid.

The only disadvantage: the parts you have to install on your bike are all made of stainless steel and weight 595g!!!! Way to much in my opinion.

Does anybody else of you guys have this product?
Would you be interested in a lighter solution (mounting parts made from aluminium and titanium)?

Do you have a picture of it. When I clicked the link it just takes me to the site not the product itself.

sweet! did you get the e-version?

595g, that's too heavy! i bet you already have the drawing for the Ti-parts.

Can you take pictures of the parts that mount on and stay on the bike, thanks.

Update.....

That didn't take long. I ended up ordering the gloss black color. While I was at it, figured I'd order the MRA double bubble windscreen in light smoke as well. They also have the stand in red and black matte as well as an electric stand but the electric one is not in stock.

I'm in for the lighter parts and just ordered mine also. Thx Urs and OO

Tried to order and it would t let me get past the sect payment part wtf. There are no options that show up. And when I try PayPal it says access error. Anyone else with the same first world problem? Lol

Maybe it's a Mac thing? Assuming you're using a Mac laptop. I dunno man. Just throwin out options since I didn't have any issues and Mike didn't either.

Ya not sure either, I don't have a Mac. Normal PC laptop. Or maybe they don't ship to Canada as we live in igloos :D

Just had a talk with the guy from ConStands: they cannot provide a lighter version of the parts mounted to the bike :(
He also mentioned that it was a long and tricky development process they went thru and only this way stability is provided.

I will mount these parts on my Tricolore and if I should find time next year I am going to think about another solution.

Thanks for letting us know of this one. But adding 595g. No way in hell. I will just have to keep working with my Pitbull stands.

Lol you guys are funny. It's a pound of weight. Who cares about a pound? You guys don't race and even if you did, you could lose a pound off of your own bodyweight and cancel it out. Not like it's rotational mass. Hell, even then it won't be something you will notice. Paddock stands are garbage when there is an option like this. Plus it looks super cool. The way some of you guys act, one would think you're adding 595 pounds to the bike.

Video shows you all you need and how to install n use it. This is such an awesome piece and seems much much better than the bersig unit at half the price!! I may order this.

i'm interested in this... i dont have a kickstand on my bike when its in track trim, so currently i ride into my baxley and/or have the girlfriend put the rear put bull stand on the bike as I am on it. After that its just painful to get off and slide the bike out of the baxley to install the warmers.... so I am interested in something that will make this process easier.

I wonder though, he never takes his hand off the handle bar during the video lifting and moving the bike... it is just by chance or is it not as stable and hes holding it in position. Regardless, after you all take shipment on yours, please let me know what the ease of operation is (track wise).
Thanks

I have the Bursig version of this, I've not used it on my 1299 yet.

I have used it on my 1098 and Aprilia Tuono. Both of these required a small adaptor to be left permanently on the bike.

Putting the bike on and off the stand is relatively easy, the guy in the video didn't really need to hold onto the handlebars, once the stand was inserted, I think that was just more of a safety habit thing.

On the Panigale, the fairing will need to have a small circular section, about an 1.25", cut out to fit the Bursig stand, but no adaptors need to be mounted on the bike.

I have the T-Rex slider on my 1299, this Constands unit adaptors would not fit with these sliders. I'm not 100% certain that the Bursig stand will fit with these sliders on also.

Here's the Bursig Adaptor on my Tuono, same on my 1098.

Here's my 1098, both wheels and forks being removed

I hope you guys are joking about the "weight" with the hardware?! To those of you that are serious you need to re-evaluate your life choices. Go take a lap around the block, eat better for ONE week. .... you could probably loose that weight by having a good ... session with your girl. Which I doubt you guys would have. Imagine: Babe you seem to be 595 grams over weight, we need to figure out a way to get rid of that before I take you out for a spin. Yeah... you guys must be fun at parties.
