Yesterday i finally got around to installing the Tuneboy quick shifter and mapping. Installation was pretty straight forward so i had no issues. After reprogramming the ECU i turned off the bike as was told and turned it back on some 30 seconds later. When i tried to start it however it didn't fire up. It turns over and i can smell the fuel, it sometimes almost fires up but just can't do it.

After trying several times the battery got low so i recharged it using an optimate (12.6v) and tried again this morning without luck. Still smells like fuel and by the sounds of it almost turns on but just can't.

I tried reverting back to the standard map which doesn't help. I also tried reflashing several times varying between Wi-Fi and the USB connection.

I hope someone can point me in the right direction as where to look for because i'm pretty much lost at the moment.

I followed the instructions to the point. I used the 1199 Akrapovic tune and the Akrapovic_2 trim as the first trim and the regular Akrapovic trim as second.

There were no errors during flashing. When i open the trim program it sees the correct trim and i can make adjustments.

I also just checked all the fuses which are ok.

Does it fire back up after you return everything to stock/oem?

Sounds like the software is working ok, as a precaution you could download the files again in case one of them was corrupted, I think someone may have had that problem before although it's rare.
The only other thing that springs to mind is the quick shifter. I'm assuming it kills the ignition, perhaps try unplugging it and see if it starts.

The Tuneboy website doesn't contain the files for the 1199, is there a link where i can download them from?

Checking the quick shifter sounds like a good idea, if it's faulty it could explain why the bike doesn't start. I will check this tomorrow!

I had the same issue and was luckily enough to get Wayne on the phone (and in a good mood). The key to that issue was that once you load the ECU, reload it again then turn the bike off and wait until the high pitched sound from the ECU running stops, turn the bike on and fingers crossed it starts.

It worked for me, but I do have the 1199.

I went straight to there URL for all the downloads and found one sole Panigale Standard map. Looks like there's both a US and a Generic Tune file which I'm assuming is EU. You probably want the one that says "Panigale_STD_0206Tune.dat"

http://www.tuneboy.com.au/TuneDownloads/PHPFiles/Panigale_STD_0206.php

Good luck!

That would be the standard map without tuning applied, i can't seem to find the ones that are on the USB stick. Are they even available for download?

The maps paired with the kit are V4.1 and don't have all the features listed on the Tuneboy website which is kind of confusing to say the least. It seems V6 maps are needed but are they available for the 1199 and where do i get them from?

Just disconnected the quick shifter from the O2 sensor and bwhaaaaap, it fired right up! It looks like the quick shifter was indeed killing the ignition so i unscrewed the rear set an refitted the quick shifter. When i reconnected everything it worked!

The readings in the Tuneboy Trim program are the same before and after so if it was a pressure problem it didn't show in the software.
