BMW called that color Laguna Seca Blue on their E46 M3s. "Cool" colors look good on German vehicles, not Italian IMO.

I disagree, Lambo make some nice cars, that look good in "cool" colors.
Seems to be a view, if it's not a red Ducati, it should be.

I quite like that blue.

Rich - I posted this up a while back in the picture thread. I was quite taken with it and am still considering painting my SF that color one of these days. XIXCIX is right in that a lot of folks just can't get their heads around anything that isn't red, but there are a growing number of us that are a little bored with the red so are willing to branch out and consider things like blue, silver, yellow and, *gasp*, even white!

It's just white we have an issue with! I love that blue! :)

I like it!

Don't attack me but I don't like red bikes (yes mine is red but the bike is what I love). So I can definitely relate to people who like the luster of other colors, whether they are from Ducati or not.

I can appreciate the want to keep traditions such as only offering red, white, and yellow motorcycles. That being said, I love blue and this bike is sexy. With Audi being at the helm these days, it wouldn't surprise me to see colors like this offered from the factory.

There is a color similar to that for the Diavel this year, so this picture might not be a photoshop job.

Ok, I was a little off on the new Diavel color. It is quite a bit darker.

I'd rather see one in yellow.
Back in the old days, all the superbikes liter size were red and the smaller displacement 748 were yellow. I think that all changed around 2000? after TPG took over ducati.

I traded out of a FighterYellow SF848 for my 1199S.
Great bike, awesome color, considering it was nice pearl.
A shame you couldn't get a white one. Locally I've seen a white SF1098 and it looks real good as does no doubt yours and the owner on ducatifighter.com with a sweet looking white one.
