Brake pad upgrade?

The z04's operate great at high consistent temps and are less resistant to fade but you need heat in them hence why they are recommend for track use only. The dual compounds you can get away with less heat and they will still bite.

I use Performance Friction. They cost a pretty penny, but they are awesome. When you want to stop, they stop! When you need to brake hard enough and it lifts the rear end off the ground, Performance Friction pads will do it. In the southeast, our heat is blistering in the summertime . Even with the extreme heat, and the race conditions at the end of a 10 lap race or GT race, the PF pads are performing like they were designed. They stop you and the bike. Finally, the PF pads are consistent, lap after lap.

This.

I don't like a crazy initial bite because there are times when im already knee-down and want to go to the brakes to adjust my line. I like a very progressive pad. The PF's have a very good feel and are easy to modulate, but they have a lot of power too.

If you want to apply 1% brakes while at max lean angle, you can do so. But if you want to endo, you can do that too.
