My front brakes started to pulsate and I took it in to Fraser in Perth yesterday. They said it was uneven run off on front tyre and asked me to pay 300 bucks for it to be replaced. Tyre did not solve the problem and now they say the suspension was set up incorrectly. New front tyre and new brake disks required. Will take 2 weeks as they do not stock parts being the main Ducati dealer! I use my bike to commute and with no replacement bike and seeing that they were responsible for the suspension setup in the first place I'm not a happy customer today.

Yep, Perth customer service sucks, causeway is no better. I use Corse Motorcycles now, at least I know he has a passion for the bikes he works on.

Break pulsing

I had the same problem, but it was due to a warped set of front brake rotors at 2600 miles. They were replaced and now its fine. By the way, uneven front tire wear is not uncommon. My front tire is always the limiting tire, I never go over 6000 miles and replace both front and rear at the same time. I have 30,000 miles on my 2013 Diavel and I am on my fifth set of tires and one new chain. Periodically check the front suspension compression settings, I found the adjustments to change by themselves due to vibration.

Second that. Brake pulsation can only come from brake rotor excessive run-out. (warped).
If it was a tire or suspension issue, it would occur at all times. Not just during braking.
