I believe the "Cornering ABS " feature only work in the level 3 setting on the ABS Where did you have it set...?

All my settings were standard stock settings I was riding in Sports mode.

After I refueled my bike a started riding off and made a blind turn around 5 mph suddenly some fake tough guy in his SUV raced towards me behind a building corner I then panicked and grabbed a fistful.

Yes the bike needs to be doing 6mph before the ABS is initiated....
