I know this has happend many times over the years, panigales v4 randomly bursting out in flames, but man! I hate the fact that Ducati hasn't even issued an apology or making the garantee valid. They are dragging their feet and sending italian people to verify what happened. Like, there is even video footage of the whole incident, where it shows the bike suddenly in flames for no reason at all. I am so mad at them. They should take care of their customers. And man, I was a good one, I can tell you that. Never buying a Ducati ever again and I want to let you know so you can be careful.

I’d really hate to see a beautiful bike blow up, but I’m also interested in seeing a video of this if it actually happened and was documented.

I can honestly see this happening. I have a 2023 v4s , recently had to take my tank off for some mods , and they released a bulletin stating that the gas line rubber hose has to be replaced each time the tank is taken off with the hose being the method of removal (better to use the quick connects). Long story short i was dribbling fuel from a broken fuel line hose and only realized it due to old gas gunk build up along the engine heat cover , traveling right down onto the rear header..... Thank god i only maybe ridden 40 miles with the occurrence and have since fixed the issue.

Hi,
Where fuel was coming, from tank and rubber hose? Do You change tie clamp as well?

Regards!

Yeah, as far as I know it was a one-off with a super early production run.

Not something to be concerned about.
