Sorry for the late response... I just stumbled across the post. The air extractor is interconnected with the lower radiator assembly and is best removed. The radiator mounting bracket can be removed without supporting the radiators, but just for good measure, an elastic strap run over the airbox will offer the radiators some support and still allow them to be manipulated as necessary to extract the spark plug. To remove the radiator mounting bracket, turn the handlebars slightly to the left, guide the bottom of the bracket outward, and simultaneously start turning the mounting bracket counterclockwise so that the leading edges (arms) of the bracket can clear the forks.
