I just installed brand new RCS 16 clutch and 19 brake and the bleeding nipples are leaking
More
Noticeable on the brake Side
Haven ridden the bike yet but I bled them both this morning, at noon both had some brake fluid so I cleaned them dry and now
A couple hours later again I can see some
Both torque down

Hey man yeah seen this a million times so the stock bleeder fittings that come with all the masters seal really well. When you change to aftermarket like Staubli, Racebolt, Probolt, etc if the tapered ends don't match up well on the master no matter how tight they can leak. Try another one if you have a spare or switch to another brand. I have found the titanium PB versions with the XR masters seal good.

I used the ones that Came with the masters
I have some titanium ones that I was using on the stock masters but for some Reason those are a bit longer (when installed a few more threads show) so I decided to Just stick with the ones that came with
The masters

So just try another or a different brand eventually it will seal up.

Will definitely swap them
Hopefully that does the trick
What brand do you prefer Mick in case I have to order new ones ?

I have been using the ProBolt titanium bleeders last couple years they seal well. The Staubli stuff is usually pretty good also.

Pro bolt is what I have
I just went to the garage and swap them for those
Almost immediately they started leaking as well

I’ll give it a couple of days in case is some of the brake fluid that was on the threads
But I feel is more than that

when i had that, the surface of the taper was in visible bad quality.
has nothing to do with that, but your clamp is also not mounted the right way.
i would release the lower screw, tighten the upper, then tighten the lower.
the gap at the top has to be closed.

Everything looks good this morning with the titanium bleeders [emoji106]
Eventually will order the Stahlbus quick bleeder
Those are nice!
