Hey All,

Has anyone installed a Brembo RCS clutch master on their 1199/1299 successfully WITHOUT deleting the control cluster?

On the brake side, the lever hits the throttle housing so the start/stop cluster needs to be removed and replaced with different button assembly.

I'm wondering if the same is true with the clutch side or if its a direct replacement.

Thanks

being as they are basically the same size I would assume it would be the same. Is it the lever length or the mc width?

Its more or less the shape of the lever that is an issue - see attached. I'm thinking the clutch will be okay though. Just want to see if anyone has already installed already -

For a zero cost approach, you may consider swapping positions between the RCS and ignition switch. It may be a stretch for your thumb to start the bike, however.

I'm also curious to see what others have done...I may eventually consider an upgrade to an RCS.

I am running rcs on both sides.... for the brake I went with the sweet ... ducabike starter/kill switch... resolves and clearance issues.

On the clutch side, there is no issues with the stock clip ons..

Biggest problem is mounting your reservoirs and depending on if you use aftermarket clip-ons the pressure contact banjo bolt (if you use one) can have some clearance issues.

Perfect - exactly what I needed to hear. I have the sweet ... ducabike starter/kill buttons so this should all work out. Reservoirs - yea, that might take some doing...

Thanks

Love the search function. My last track weekend got cancelled so winter project is coming earlier

What's on the 1199 for front calipers? M50s? I thought the RCS19 wouldn't work with them?

Uhhhh nobody mentioned RCS 19 in this thread... like the people recommend in your other thread, get 17.

Just rotate your throttle housing. Drill a new hole in your clip on, and done.

cheers for the pic and info. Have been contemplating for my 1299s but have received mixed answers.
