Why not wait to get exactly what you want?

I was waiting for quite some time to to start a new Construction project to buy high end parts for my Panigale. Finally got it so it's time to buy some goodies.

I look forward to to seeing how it turns out.

I have the OZ Piegga and love them. Problem with BST is finding someone to mount tires on carbon wheels. its alot of risk. We only have one shop here that will mount my friends pirellis on his BSTs

Do you have an extra set for sake ?? I have no problems mounting tires their is a local tire shop that only specializes in exotic cars. They installed my BST wheels on my MV Augusta AGO no problems.

I'm a carbon fiber fanatic...but I would still go with the OZ over the BST.
BST needs to release a different design.
Personally, if I were going to with a CF wheel, I'd go with Dymag, just to be different.

If money were no object, Galespeed.

Dymag's are nice but I haven't seen any motorcycle with a set. Dymag has been around for a long time but I don't like the CF waving.
BST wheels quality control is magnificent.

I'm looking for a brand new set of OZ GASS RS-A wheels in Black you guys talked me into them.
Bad part they are back ordered 2 months.

Thanks for your input.

I like the style on tus pic but I'm pretty sure they never made them.

Heron,

maybe wait for 1299 SL Carbon wheels. They may release it for public.

If they do, I will get one.

I've got BST wheels on my H2 and my ZX10R track bike and they are awesome for sure. I also had a set on my ZX14 and pounded the crap outta them with no issues. I love the magnesium wheels on my 1299SA but would go BST all day.....played out? Not even close.....:)

What's the difference between regular OZ GASS vs RA??

I think they are one in the same IIRC. OZ GASS RS-A is the model of the wheels I purchased. As many have said, they are on back order. Had to wait nine weeks for mine as OZ were flat out producing wheels for Moto3 and Moto2 teams at the time for the 2017 season.

Agree with many that the Galespeeds are almost as desireable as the 1299SL wheels. I saw a set of them at EICMA a few years back and was a little disappointed at the finish but they were pre-production examples to be fair, that I managed to sneek a peek at. Have to say the BST's look a little dated now. Rotobox are too bulky in appearance and I'm not a lover of the Dymags either for the same reason.

From memory the Piegas are heavier than the stock chicken feet S wheels which I have never been a fan of. Got shot of mine as soon as I picked up the bike in Dec 2016 and ordered the GASS RS-A's.

I had a set of 5 spoke Piegas on the 1199. If weight is not a primary concern then Oz do produce some nice forged aluminium wheels. However, if you can afford it, I would go with a set of Mag Cattiva wheels, which a lot of the professional teams run with. At the end of the day it is subjective as to what you want/need/must have or simply like the look of.

Those wheels are so hot better u don't see many with them

Not seen that many other than on forums in the US. Certainly not seen any in the UK yet. Piegas a plenty but not these.
