kind of hard to argue against that service interval ... but does open the question of what a "sprung" Superbike engine might do.
 
It's a touring engine meant to go long distances. There is currently no indicator they are going to drop Desmo in the superbike engines. The Pani and SF V4 is based on the 2015 MotoGP Desmo, they have at least 5 years worth of updates to introduce to the public.
 
I agree with WyldCFH.

For a touring engine it was a smart call. I think Desmo valve technology has limited time left though.

Camless valve technology in the hypercar market will trickle down and I think it will be the next wave. The weight and size reductions make it very lucrative for a bike engine.
