Apparently there are huge numbers of built bikes sitting around waiting to be sold.
The Superduke series, GTs, are all too expensive by a few thousand dollars, Especially for a plastic bikes with questionable looks and spotty reliability. Even Orange and black is not an adult color scheme. Just being honest. They operate in a premium market and offer a not quite premium experience. Especially with the awesomeness SFV4S the last few years. Just my 2c and I’ve almost bought one a few times.

Weren’t they also relying on selling subscriptions for various features? Or maybe it was one-off payments to activate stuff that was already on the bike? Something like that.

Not a subscription that I know of, but you paid for added features that came standard from everyone else. $1,800 or so for the Tech Pack and the Rack Pack, for if you want to do something like turn off wheely control. I think the fully kitted out 1290/1390s were awesome, but you are spending a lot of money to get that far.

Another negative is that it still doesn't seem like WP is on par with Ohlins, but they are definitely charing you for them.

I hate to see them fail, but that's a lot of negatives that cost the consumer a lot of money. Super cool motorcycles but just a ton of $$ for a tricked out super-moto.
