Any short inseam folks used this saddle yet? 96881091AA - LOWERED RIDER SEAT STREETFIGHTER V2

My GF would like a little more reach to the ground and the other option I guess would be to shave the current saddle down.

I had my standard seat on my Panigale V2 reupholstered to be lower. Coupled that with lowering the suspension too (front & rear to keep the same geometry and handling) gave me about 1” in total.

Thanks! I told my GF to just order the saddle and we'll see if it fits. Looking at the 2 bikes side profile, they appear identical, but with Ducati, who knows. Lol

Here’s a picture of my saddle that I had reupholstered

Hi. Newbie on the forum here. Just bought a Panigale V2 and looking at options at lowering it.

Did the Streetlighter saddle fit the Panigale? Grateful for the feedback as I am considering going for this route,

Many thanks

Shaved the Streetfighter V2 seat and lowered the suspension myself and put the seat on the Panigale V2.

Yes and No. But as long as you are willing to cut the base and press it whilst attaching the mounting screws it will fit perfectly.

I am a shortie:
I shaved the saddle of the Streetfighter and lowered the suspension at the rear. I have the Bayliss edition so it’s very straightforward with the Ohlins suspension. On a normal V2 you can purchase a lowering link. You can also lower the front by raising the Fork legs up the triple clamp.

I am only a fair weather Sunday rider and it suits me fine. I have not faced any issues but please do these mods at your own discretion.
