That trip sounds epic, ex maybe the 24hr drive down to Cali.
Yeah thats a good call on the Rock Store & Deus Cafe, will make sure to factor those in. I forgot to mention that we have another buddy that doesnt ride but is coming with us in a Mustang as our support vehicle so all our bags and crap will just get thrown in the car as we are free to carve.

It seem that many tourists rent Convertible Mustang and ride along the coast HWY1. :D

Good on you guys to do this cool trip. I like to do also with close friends as well but in other countries like Europe, Asia, or even Australia. I envy you:cool:

I do this Highway 1 and 395 loop every couple of years.

I recommend hitting at lest 2 of the high sierra passes - Hwy 108 and 88 are my favorite. Also I love the section on 395 between Mono Lake and Dog Town. It doesn't look like much on a map, but the sweepers are epic.

The drive there was actually really fun because we were so excited but on the way back it was hell, we left at night after the Bellagio buffet so you can imagine how tired we all were.

The support vehicle is going to be an awesome help with the gear but when you get into the city you guys should pre determine an end spot to meet at because hes going to have a hard time keeping up lol. LA traffic is beyond insane!!!!!!!!!

Yeah thats a v good point PH as we will be lane splitting like MFs, Im not waiting for the car to catch up.
Everyone will be mic'd up on SENA's so we can arrange somewhere on the fly - last thing we need is wasting time retracing steps trying to find a car in LA.

MB -heard/read lots of good things about the 108 & 88 so they are definitely on my list of must do's.

Looking forward to the trip from LV out to Mammoth Lakes as I've not done that part of the loop yet.

You'll have fun for sure. As the other said DEFINITELY check out ACH, its amazing. Honestly watch your speed though its very heavily patrolled, if you keep the speed limit you can still have a great time for sure.
